Our Journey
The Abuja Carnival, first launched in 2005, was envisioned as a grand celebration of Nigeria's diverse cultural heritage. Over the years, it has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the country, drawing participants and spectators from across Nigeria and beyond.
In 2024, recognizing the growing international interest, the carnival is rebranded as the Abuja International Carnival. This rebranding reflects the carnival's expanded vision of promoting cultural exchange and unity not just within Nigeria but across the globe. The Abuja International Carnival continues to honor its roots while embracing a broader, more inclusive approach, inviting the world to experience the rich tapestry of African culture.
